When springtime arrives, the desire to abandon the gloomiest colours usually misused in winter, in favour of brighter ones and cheerful fantasies, arises spontaneously. For people like me who like to dress in summer's colours, I suggest to see the wide range of cool and splattered dresses proposed by Marc Jacobs: a breath of fresh air in the summer heat! In particular, Marc Jacobs focuses on a well-defined concept, called Flower Power, that had already characterized previous collections and that extends itself to other products, perfumes above all. The formula is simple: light and slick fabrics, few decorative accessories (a bow, for example) and, of course, floral fantasy. In my opinion the dress that best represents Flower Power is the Poppy Wrop Dress: an "occidental kimono" - which does not go down to the feet but stops at the top of the knee - glowing orange base, like a summer sunset, and big flowers a little crumpled, surrounded by lines and dots.
